• In May 1985, McDonald’s ran a regional Happy Meal test promotion in St. Louis featuring non-transforming mini-vehicle figures of four Generation 1 bots: Cliffjumper, Bumblebee, Brawn, and Gears. Each came in six two‑color combinations.
