40's U.S. ARMY M-43 Alpaca Liner Field Jacket

This is a genuine US ARMY M-43 alpaca liner field jacket from the 1940s.
The most notable feature is the generous use of alpaca, a luxurious material.
I own other series that also use alpaca (N-1, M-45, B-15), but the length and density are on a completely different level.
I personally like to layer this with a mid-length jacket like a coverall, enjoying the layering while ensuring warmth with the M-43.

The size is tight, making it difficult to wear thick layers underneath, but I recommend wearing Heattech and a perfectly sized sweatshirt, then putting on the M-43, and then something with a bit of room on top.

Regarding the condition, three buttons are missing. Please check the photos for tears in the sleeves, tears and stains on the left pocket.
It's not in perfect condition, but it's in good condition considering it's about 85 years old.
This is a piece you can wear without hesitation, not just for display.
