Antique British meat carving knife and fork set with sterling silver handles

I am selling this antique meat carving set with sterling silver handles and steel blade/tines. I am not sure of the manufacturer, though the hallmarks (anchor, lion, beta) indicate that they are British silver pieces from the city of Birmingham in the 19th century. At the top of the handle they are stamped STERLING 125 beside the hallmark.

Both are in good vintage condition, with minor scratches and dings from years of use. The knife blade and fork tines are not silver and have discolored to a mottled gray. At the base of the times on the fork there is a hinged mechanism that can be used to protect the carver from knife slips. The knife has a long blade, ideal for carving turkey, ham, or roast beef.
