Highway 61 is a great recording from two different Country Blues artists! Wolf Record´s manager Hannes saw Hermann Alexander playing in downtown Memphis - there exists not a single record by him - except this CD with 11 songs with great versions of Delta Blues Songs, like "Highway 61" or "Catfish Blues". The second artist is CeDell Davis, who lives in Arkansas - he had a special slide style and many songs of his own - he plays harp too! "Room 701" or "Blues for Big Town" are some of his best songs!
