This is a fake layered knit sweater, with gray knit peeking out from the brown knit (see photo 6).
Both layers have zippers. The inner gray layer has a standard half-zip, while the brown outer layer's zipper stops at a precise point, about 9/10ths of the way up (likely because the seam connecting the inner gray part is shallow, and fully opening the zipper would make it flap and look untidy).
Condition:
Slight pilling and the inner tag's writing has faded, but overall it's in good condition with not much wear.
