Kingman Copper Turquoise Rectangle Dangle Earrings 1.50”L Southwestern 925

For your consideration is this pair of sterling silver dangle earrings featuring rectangular Kingman copper turquoise gemstones. Each earring showcases a polished, rectangular blue turquoise stone with a distinct dark matrix and striking copper veins running throughout the stone. They are set in a high-polish bezel setting made of 925 sterling silver. The earrings use simple hook ear wires for closure. These pieces are often described as having a boho or hippie style and are handcrafted.

Marked “925”, approximate measurements are 1.50”L x .49”W x .13”D and they weigh 4.9 Gm. I love the open back on these that enable a lighter weight earring as well as a beautiful view of these gorgeous Cabochons on both sides. The 2nd photo shows the back.

The gemstone itself is a composite material made from natural turquoise that is crushed and mixed with bronze or copper and pressure-treated together, and sourced from the Kingman Mine in Arizona.
