Hand-thrown Korean studio pottery bowl, c. 1970s–1990s, likely from the Icheon or Yeoju ceramic region.
Formed in fine reduction-fired stoneware with a smooth beige ash glaze, the exterior is decorated in vertical cobalt slip lines intersected by a single horizontal band—an elegant, meditative motif inspired by traditional buncheong and Joseon whiteware design.

The interior is fully glazed in warm neutral tones; the foot is precisely trimmed and left unglazed, showing the natural buff clay and subtle kiln blush from firing.

Unsigned, as was typical of many collaborative Korean kilns. Measures approximately 8¼ in (21 cm) diameter × 6¼ in (16 cm) high. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.

A serene example of late-20th-century Korean ceramic artistry—balanced, tactile, and contemplative.
