NICENESS NICENESS IRWIN Hiker Jacket 24SS

This is the NICENESS Irwin (Khaki) jacket, from the 2024 SS collection.

Based on a 1940s-50s French hunting jacket, this new type of hiker jacket incorporates new interpretations such as umbrella pockets.

It uses cotton spun on a rare British worsted spinning machine that spins old, good quality yarns, and its unique uneven texture that preserves the original texture of the yarn is its greatest feature.

Although it is originally a spinning machine that mainly uses wool as a raw material, spinning cotton creates a textured yarn with a strong twist, giving it an expressive unevenness and a rough feel.

The raw materials are a blend of extra-long staple Pima and San Joaquin cottons with different fiber lengths.

The weft is woven with C/Hemp at a high density, but finished with a plumpness at a processing plant specializing in knitwear.
