Olive Green (OG) PLCE IRR 120 litre British Army Short Back Bergen & Side Pouches ideal for militaria collector, bushcraft, camping, hiking, festivals, prepping. The commercial Snugpak Rocket rucksack is based on this original pack.PLCE = Personal Load Carrying Equipment. IRR = Infra Red Reflective. Bergen with internal frame approx 100 litres & pouches approx 20 litres. This issue was used in Gulf War 1 and Northern Ireland ops and the exact same design is still used today though in DPM and more recently in MTP material instead. Olive green (OG) is preferred for outdoorsmen and preppers etc as its less military looking. This short back version is pretty hard to come by these days. Short back bergens are supposed to be for people under 6 feet tall and long backs for people over 6 feet tall though it's a matter of preference and people of all heights. Light signs of use as shown on the buckle scratches, but this Bergen was never used in the field and or wet conditions.
