The JOWO-made size 5, 18-karat gold nib has surprising elasticity, perfectly described as flexible, and offers a truly soft writing feel! Holding the pen about 1 cm back from the tip of the section and writing with the pen upright provides an incredibly smooth writing experience. The weight of the fountain pen assists, allowing even those with light pressure to write quickly and comfortably. The nib's metalwork precision is comparable to jewelry. This expertise is why Faber-Castell acquired the company in 2024, as Otto Hutt's main business was manufacturing ring settings and watch barrels. The distinctive spring clip and the rounded contours and surface, milled with special diamond tools, make the fountain pen fit perfectly in the hand. The cap is engraved with the six-digit code 06-6712. The meaning of 6712 is unknown.
