This is a genuine U.S. military surplus item, the desert camouflage pattern used during the Gulf War, commonly known as "chocolate chip" or "6-color desert camo," which was the first desert camouflage adopted by the U.S. military. Officially, it's called DBDU (Desert Battle Dress Uniform).

This item is from the 90s, and the 6C desert (chocolate chip) pattern is rarely seen even in local markets. These cargo pants were also used by the U.S. Marine Corps (U.S.M.C.) during the Gulf War. They were developed based on the Mojave Desert in California, and later replaced by the 3-color desert camo type.

The material is a cotton and nylon blend twill. The front has a button fly, and the waist can be finely adjusted with adjusters on both sides (photo 8). It features a 6-pocket design with two side pockets, two back pockets, and two cargo pockets. The knees have pleats, making it easy to move without pulling when bending the knees, and the cuffs have drawcords (photo 9) for adjustment.

This is a hard-to-find item that is rarely seen in today's market.

The successor model, the 3C desert camo, is more common, but the 6C desert camo is a valuable item.
This is a new DEADSTOCK item, and the golden size MEDIUM REGULAR is rare.
